There is a knack to filling the Habitrail Ovo bottle to ensure the vacuum forms correctly and prevents dripping:

1. Remove the silver cap and fill the bottle with water until it is completely full and the water starts to run over the brim.
2. Fix the silver cap with the bottle still over the sink.
3. Turn the bottle the right way up. There is no need to shake the bottle.
4. A few drops will likely drip out, but then the vacuum will form, and the bottle should not drip anymore.
