Venison Wrapped Collagen Dog Chew - 12 Inch Twisted Puffed Chew, Grain Free and Gluten Free

Give your dog a taste of the wild side. This 12 inch chew from Better Natural Treats is made mostly from collagen, puffed up to a lighter, crunchier texture, twisted into a plait and wrapped in venison. Venison is a less common meat than chicken or beef, so it makes a nice change for dogs who have had plenty of the usual flavours. It has no grain or gluten, and it is suitable for puppies from 12 weeks old.

Key Features

• Long and Chewy: A 12 inch (around 30cm) plaited chew with plenty to get stuck into.
• Wrapped in Venison: A rich, game flavour that dogs love, and a change from chicken and beef.
• Made Mostly from Collagen: Collagen is the protein that gives cartilage, skin and tendons their structure, so many owners choose collagen chews to help look after their dog's joints, skin and coat.
• Naturally High in Protein: A protein-rich chew to give as a treat.
• Lighter Texture: Puffed, so it is not as hard as a bone or antler.
• Grain Free and Gluten Free: Made without grain or gluten ingredients.
• Suitable for Puppies from 12 Weeks: A chew the whole family can share, with supervision.

Why We Rate This

A long chew gives dogs something to grip, carry and keep busy with, and the plait shape makes it easy to hold. Because it is puffed, it is lighter and easier on the teeth than a hard bone, which makes it a good choice for puppies and for dogs who do not like very hard chews. If your dog has worked through plenty of chicken and beef treats, venison is a tasty way to mix things up.

Ingredients

Collagen, venison, soy protein, pea protein, potato starch, glycerin, sugar alcohol, tapioca flour.

This chew contains soy and pea protein, so please check the ingredients if your dog is sensitive to either.

Chewing Safely

• Always stay with your dog while they chew, and make sure they have fresh water.
• When the chew is down to a small piece your dog could swallow whole, take it away.
• Treats count towards your dog's daily food, so cut back their meals a little on days they have one.
