Why We Rate This

Brown seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum) is one of the best-researched natural ingredients for pet dental care. Studies in dogs have reported reductions in plaque and tartar after a few months of daily use, and it is widely used in dental supplements. It is an easy extra for pets who will not tolerate brushing, though it works best as part of a wider routine rather than a replacement for one.

How to Use

• Use the spoon provided to measure the correct amount and sprinkle it over your pet's food every day.
• Always follow the feeding guide on the pack.
• Keep the dose consistent from day to day. This matters especially for cats.
• Many owners notice a difference after around 3 to 8 weeks of regular use, but results vary from pet to pet.
• For the best results, use it alongside dental chews, toothbrushing and other dental care. Daily brushing remains the gold standard.
• Always make sure fresh drinking water is available.

Important: Please Read Before Feeding

Seaweed is naturally high in iodine, so this product is not recommended for dogs or cats with a thyroid condition. We also recommend checking with your vet before use if your pet is pregnant, nursing, very young or on medication. If you are unsure whether it suits your pet, please ask your vet or pop in and see us.
